Our Mission
In recognition of the extremely severe shortage of facilities in cardiac care worldwide, and particularly for the poor, the St. John Heart Foundation officials will be seeking to construct or restore a building in a location that has no cardiac facilities – suitable for conducting heart care including interventional cardiology and surgery. It will be offering entirely free assistance for anyone who can arrive at the location from South or Central America. Operational costs will be minimized by taking advantage of the developing shipment donation program of medical equipment run by CardioStart International. It will be managed as a non-denominational entity, accepting pediatric and adult patients without any exclusion whatsoever, addressing those needing diagnostic advice, and cardiac procedures or surgery. Priority will be given too poorest families in need of cardiac care.
